An innovative and much-expected metaverse collaboration has just been announced both by Adidas Originals and Prada’s representatives. The two superstar fashion houses are to collaborate on a community-based NFT project inspired by the already existing collaboration of the two, the Re-Nylon collection.

This is going to be their third collaboration, yet the first of its kind in the NFT multiverse. Adidas Originals and Prada intend to stimulate both their customers and all those passionate about design and crypto-currency towards a virtual creative contribution. The project which is about to start on January 24th invites the users of digital wallets to submit photography and get the chance to be a part of a big-size digital art piece created by the artist Zach Lieberman. Thus, through their contribution, the result will be a common, huge-size collective digital piece of art. Together with Lieberman, the two fashion powerhouses intend to reward each participant via NFT and web3 technology.

Adidas Originals and Prada NFT Project stages

The project has several stages, and it is designed to attract 3,000 different photo entries. Between January 24th and 26th, everybody has the chance to deliver their visual contribution. The second stage, between 26th and 27th, is reserved for the final 3,000 photos selection process, which is made randomly. Then, the digital artist Lieberman comes into play by compiling all these pieces into a huge unitary digital artwork. The result is going to be put on auction on January 28th via SuperRare.

Zach Lieberman expressed his enthusiasm about creating art in the NFT form by using the new blockchain technology. This is a huge opportunity for artists and creatives to be recognized, as well as for the collective force to promote artistic values in the digital world. It is also a great opportunity to officialize ownership over this type of new art and allow the growth of the digital art market.

Participation in the re-source created by Adidas with Prada requires no participation fee. Every selected contributor will hold full ownership rights over their participation in the collective artwork.

For Prada, it is the first NFT release, whereas Adidas Originals is building up quite a solid and constant presence on the multiverse.
